“Monsters do exist; in us and among us. They walk in our shadow. They can prey on us more as we fear them less. We should know. We created them.” --- George A. Romero
sweet... I read the book 'The Island' and it had that cover on it. As a kid, I avoided the book because the picture was so creepy. The book wasn't though...
I confess that I actually like the original Japanese version of Godzilla. The later ones were crap. It was dark and moody and many mistakes were hidden by the shadows. You have to appreciate the poster for this.
The Rosemary's Baby is very unsettling. I have seen hat poster before.
Food for the Gods by H G Wells. The poster makes the film look much better than it was. Giant Rats and Giant Rubber Chickens. Has to be very late at night before I am even tempted to see this again.
The Island with Michael Caine. Great poster for a great load of action filled crap. Pirates Arrrr!!!!
Dead calm wind my vote. Excellent movie with and excellent poster.
Nice comments everyone ... and yes, I agree with them all! My favourite is the Deadly Blessing one, easily the best poster to a Wes Craven flick ever, shame the movie is mediocre, but then, so are several others here (a couple even down right crap!). But it's the artwork I'm championing ...
