COME MEET MARTIN - STAR OF THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE II!

Monster Pictures in conjunction (pun intended) with Horrorphile are organising a late luncheon/early dinner event to coincide with the clutch of upcoming Sydney screenings of The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) (2011), uncut in all its perverse glory.

Following on from a controversial sold-out Australasian premiere of the outrageous movie at the Brisbane International Film Festival (two fainters and a real shithead) Dutch director Tom Six's sequel now arrives in Sydney for a handful of screenings at the legendary Mu-Meson Archives' underground cinema in Annandale to be hosted by veteran cinephiles and psychotronic aficionados Jay Katz and Miss Death.

Prior to the screenings on Saturday November 19th there will be a chow-down chinwag with special guest Laurence R. Harvey, who plays Martin, the disturbed loner who goes to appalling lengths to realise his twisted fantasy of creating a twelve-person human centipede.

Yes, this is a rare and wonderful chance for local horrorphiles (or anyone prepared to travel to Sydney) to hang out for a few hours and chew the gristle and fat with a bona fide cult movie star in the making, an uber villian extraordinaire!

The eating establishment and time is yet to be announced, but tickets will be $50 per head which includes the meal. There are only ten places available, so it's first in best dressed! This is an opportunity for serious horrorphiles not to be missed!

Email me at pleasureofnightmares [at] gmail [dot] com and I will confirm whether you've secured a seat and release further details at what promises to be a meal and conversation to be savoured mostly sweetly!

Details of all Human Centipede II screenings times at Mu-Meson Archives to be announced.

Watched it yesterday. Immensely disappointing, really. It's not a horror, it's a joke. They make it too comical to be horrific. Also, I didn't think that the B W helped, which is a shame because I was looking forward to it.

Dear Bryn,

I just woke up from a 44 year slumber/coma. Not a physical one. It was all in my mind, man.

I miss the old days of Orble when I used to grace these screens with my wit and umparalleled intelligence.

But I'm over all the angst. In two years time? I will be unleashing on the world, a few films which even you will be salivating over. And when the first one hits the cinemas? I'll give you an exclusive interview with all of the heavyweights ot the Australian film industry for they are my best friends.

Although my next film does not belong strictly to the horror genre, it will be horrific. It belongs to the 'sick as' genre, for that is my genre, and I own the exclusive rights to it. You think you've seen sicko on film? Not yet you haven't.

Anyway, now that I'm out of my coma, I'm catching up with all the people I've isolated myself from for the past decade (or alienated).

I can be found on Facebook. Why? This site is a piece of gay shit. But I'm over the angst. Haven't got time for this gay shit. Too busy writing best sellers and soon-to-be realeased horror film which will make the SAW series look like kindy films.

Always loved your blog. Still do. Just don't read it. Too busy writing my own most excellent works.

Keep on writing man.

David ...

Humane, these kinds of movies always polarise audiences. Keeps things interesting. I have yet to see it, so will reserve judgment until then.

David the wordophiliac,
a rare pleasure to have you grace the Darkness with your quirky illuminations.
I look forward to the opportunity of interviewing the heavyweights ... and seeing your moving images on the big or small screen one day.
Feel free to venture back in again soon!
And cheers for the props!
I'm a true veteran in these here dark woods.
