The lovely folk at Anchor Bay have provided Horrorphile with ten copies of one of the best remakes ever (not hard considering how lame the original is!); the notorious rape-revenge tale I Spit on Your Grave (1978) got a makeover, but maintains the nasty edge.

If you like your revenge flicks on the nasty tip then I Spit on Your Grave (2010) is right up your redneck alley. But unlike the low-budget, interminably over-rated cult original, this new version ramps up the narrative drive, tightens the plot points, ups the horror viscera ante where it should be, and delivers sterling performances from the cast. This is one revenge flick that kicks bad ass.
