MARCH 2008 - Horrorphile on his HONEYMOON!
March 3rd 2008 22:02
My apologies for the infrequent posts of late, and especially the lack of posts during the last week, there’s a legitimate reason: I got married on Saturday March 1st. That’s right; I tied the knot with my partner of four years, and celebrated with a glorious wedding in Watson’s Bay, Sydney.
Tomorrow we fly out of the country and embark on what plans to be a sensational five-week honeymoon that takes us to Japan, England, Spain, Malta and France.
Organising this double whammy – the wedding and the honeymoon – with my fiancé (now wife) has been a full-on affair, which has been stressful at times. But we pulled off what many guests are telling us was the best wedding they’ve ever been to! So now it’s time for us to indulge in a little serious rest and recreation!
However, I now have to admit that I didn’t plan very well for my Pleasure of Nightmares blog. I don’t have an archive of pre-written reviews, I tend to write on the day, or the day before. So a five-week holiday presented itself as a bit of a problem in terms of finding the time to write reviews in advance. The simple fact is, I didn’t have the time.
So, unfortunately there will be no horrorphile reviews for the next five weeks. What I have managed to whip up are some quizzes and questions, plus a poster gallery and an art lair. Two posts a week is all I could muster. I feel bad about it, but c’est la vie. I hope my faithful readers understand.
When I get back in April I’ll make it up to you, I promise. I hope all the regular True Believers remain loyal; in blogland, traffic is paramount, and traffic is only heavy when there’s blood on the streets, so to speak.
Well, it’s time to go! I have a mountain of stuff to get done today! See you in the Darkness soon!

Have a fabulous honeymoon. I'm very jealous, though like JD am wondering why you haven't included Transylvania in your travels.

Glad to see you crossed that great ocean in the end
Lilla ...
PS I have to agree with the others here Bryn, a trip to Transylvannia should be well on the agenda, all those lovely museums and monuments in honour of the fanged one and his minions ... not to mention the local stories andthe Count's Castle itself ... too good to miss.
Have a great honeymoon!
