FANTASTIC PLANET MOVIE TRIVIA CHALLENGE!

Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the pub for a quiet drink … It’s the inaugural FANTASTIC PLANET MOVIE TRIVIA CHALLENGE!

Sydney's A Night Of Horror Film Festival has merged with Fantastic Planet Film Festival to become one awesome international film festival of horror, science fiction and fantasy movies and more!

On Saturday, March 24th, there will be an afternoon of unashamed geekdom and championship where horror fiends, sci-fi freaks, and genre movie nerds will have the pleasure of schmoozing and nutting out over numerous beverages while they pit their teams against each other in a booze-addled battle of the brains (severed heads and artificial intelligence, more like!)

Hosted and quizmastered by yours truly, and final judging by the Fantastic Planet Festival Directors, here’s your chance to prove your cosmic horror mettle and have a lot of fun doing it!

Now trust me when I say the main prize pack is to be drooled over! Juicy details to be announced!

You must create a name for your team and are encouraged to bring an accompanying team mascot (a small item) related to your team name, for example: a toy/model of The Millennium Falcon for The Corellian Pirates, or an ice hockey/Michael Myers mask for The Boogeymen.

There will be a secondary prize awarded to the Festival Director’s favourite team mascot.

Teams must consist of one to five members.

So, gather your phantastic team, sharpen your mental blades, and register (team name & team members) via email to:

... no later than March 21st.

Entry is free. A reply email will confirm your registration.

Team check in and mingling will be between 1.30pm-1.45pm on Saturday 24th in the Velvet Room, Bank Hotel, King Street, Newtown, with the Trivia Challenge commencing at 2pm sharp.

Please note there will be a zero tolerance attitude to cheating. This means mobile phones will need to be surrendered for the duration of the Trivia Challenge. Anyone seen using a phone during this period will result in their team’s immediate disqualification.Thank you for understanding

You have to be in it to win it, and remember … there will be blood.
